Al was cursed with violin lessons by his parents at a very early age, but eventually had revenge by learning to operate the saxophone. This led circuitously to a career that has included work with such artists as Loggins and Messina, the Eagles, Soul Fuse, and others.

He’s been a Sonoma County resident for more than 25 years and is now a proud grandpa.
